I always pop the nicest, most spontaneous smile every time i listen to this song. If a song has the power to do that, to bring a smile to anyone who listens to it, well, that song is special, it’s magical. Just like the band that created it, the combination of Dave’s beautiful voice, Jeff’s (who filled in for a legend, RIP Leroi) captivating saxophone, Carter’s mind-blowing drum playing, Tim’s guitar playing, Boyd’s awesome violin and Rawshan’s trumpet, that’s the combination to happiness,
Funny the way it is that many of DMB’s songs have a progressive message of change while the core of its fanbase is white-suburban and apathetic towards social ethos.

dandy track! the whole album is marvelous.
This song is very moving and thought provoking. The lyrics are very deep and intense. I feel that the overall message is a bit shocking and I sort of get depressed after the song ends. It makes me sort of sad.
Played it for a band show with my schools show band last football season, along with shake me like a monkey and Why I Am,,,we had a Dave Matthews Band show :3
