But China now has all the manufacturing in their country. They everything from toy factories to multi billion dollar fabs for silicon chip manufacture.
The US has a military, and it’s entirely dependent on the Arabs who have huge investments of treasuries in the United States. If China doesn’t get paid back, the Arabs won’t either, and that ends oil shipments.

@nilbud Well that is a small part of what I was saying but yes, even excluding the military and defense related supplies/aid, the US gives more humanitarian aid than any country, both the government and the public. In fact Americans give more inhumanitarian aid than any other country combined, and thats just the private everyday citizens.
